JOBKEEPER DISPUTES

The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has already received 120 applications to deal with JobKeeper Disputes.    Unions are expected to test the Provisions in the next few weeks.

The FWC has powers to mediate, conciliate, arbitrate or make recommendations in relation to JobKeeper.  The FWC can give effect to JobKeeper Enabling Directions.

The ATO deals with disputes about who is eligible to participate in the scheme.

The Victorian Trades Hall Council recently launched its https://www.jobscammer.com.au website.  This website invites workers to ‘dob in your dodgy boss’ allegedly rorting the scheme.   It has received 250 responses so far.
